Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 24120
can't change title text box bg color
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:21:02 UTC
i can only have white as the background color of the title text box (via Master View). how to reproduce: File --> New --> Presentation --> Create. Press OK on Modify slide dialog. Click on Master View (in lower left corner). Select the 'Click to Edit the title text format' text box. Go to Format --> Area. At the Fill tab, move it down to color and select any color and press ok. You would notice that nothing happens. If you go back to Format --> Area, you see that OOo switched any color you selected to white.
Reproducible.
Reassigned to Christian.
Wolfram, we already discussed this in much earlier issues and the observed behaviour actually was a fix I did 2 years ago. The placeholders on the masterpage can not be hard formated, only theire position is of value. Theire formatings are only editable via the presentation styles, and that one does not contain settings for area fillings. So as long as we stay to the current concept, the behaviour is not an issue, its as it should be. If we like to change it, this is a request for a new feature and requires a specifiaction
Changed to Feature. Reassigned to Bettina.
