Description elb 2004-01-04 18:36:19 UTC
My girlfriend was trying to write some document for her studies using OO.o and
after that wanted to minimize the space required for the text. After making the
text split into two columns she couldn't return to the initial state (she uses
OpenOffice 1.1.0 under Windows2000) and sent it to me. On my OpenOffice 1.1.0
running on Debian GNU/Linux (both 'vanilla' and 'debian' versions of OO.o) the
software just opened the document and after a second, the CPU was used by 99%.
Only killing the application helped. The result is that she didn't complete her
work and got angry at OO.o. In my opinion it is a serious problem because it
happened during a normal work and made further work impossible.

can confirm this, but this is fixed in OOo1.1.1a
please try to open this document in with 1.1.1a. the formating is a little bit
wired on some text parts, but this could be handled with a minimum of time.#
