Description mov 2003-12-31 09:29:42 UTC
When opening a spreadsheet the window -> freeze setting that was saved in the
spreadsheet is not shown anymore. This is not happening with OpenOffice 1.0.1 on
Win 98. I tested the following situations: spreadsheet created with OpenOffice
1.0.1 and opened with 1.1.0 - freeze setting is not shown. Created spreadsheet
with OpenOffice 1.1.0 and opened with 1.1.0 - freeze setting is not shown.
Opened the same document with 1.0.1 and the freeze setting is shown correctly.
Thus I think that the freeze setting is saved correctly, but 1.1.0 ignores it.

Hi,

I'm sorry to tell you, but I could not reproduce your problem.

Please attach a document which produces this behaviour on your system.

Lowering Prio as 2 is much to high.

I also opened this document with OpenOffice 1.1.0 under Mandrake 9.2 and the
freeze setting is shown correctly. When opening a document created unter
Mandrake on WinXP the freeze setting is not shown. So I have to correct my first
statement: only my WinXP OpenOffice 1.1.0 does not show the freeze setting. Does
this feature require any files/libraries which may be missing on my computer?

Hi,

I tried your document and the freeze setting is there.

Regarding the libraries / files, there is no one special I know from which is
not installed automatically. So I recommend a clean new installation or at least
a repair setup session.

Please drop me a line if this solves your problem.

Sorry, I forgot to mention: Before posting, I already tried to repair
OpenOffice, but without success. Now I tried it again - no result either.

But a clean install was successful. After that I restored my previous settings
(dictionaries, templates, wordbook) and it is still OK. So I cannot reproduce
the problem - and that's a bit strange (especially because I didn't delete any
files from the OpenOffice directory before). Well at least it's working now. Thanks!

So I set this one as worksforme.
