Description maho.nakata 2003-12-28 09:38:40 UTC
we need following patch for FreeBSD (taken from ports cvs repo),
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/ports/editors/openoffice-1.1/files/patch-cppuhelper%2bsource%2bgcc3_linux_intel.map
written by Martin Blapp.

This patch is very ad hoc but important, otherwise, OOo fails to start
with the mysterious message:
UNO component is not initialalzed.

mh->maho: what action do we need to take ?
Comment 3 pavel 2004-01-11 13:50:30 UTC
It is not yet clear whether it is not a bug in FreeBSD ld.so.

No action now, please.

Do not depend on existence of _end symbol in obj_from_addr, use
obj->mapbase and obj->mapsize instead.

Prompted by: OpenOffice debugging session at last BSDCon.

this has already been fixed. FreeBSD 5.3-RELEASE include this effort.

marked as fixed.
