Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 23914
document lost when saving with colon in filename
Last modified: 2017-05-20 10:28:52 UTC
When saving a document with a colon in the filename, like "test: to see if it is a bug.sxw" the document is not saved, because the file system can't use the colon. The application however assumes that the document is saved. The document is lost forever and not saved (or perhaps in some inaccessible part of the hard disc). Solution: add a check before saving to see if there are 'forbidden' characters in the proposed filename.
Will be analysed.
