Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 23797
OO should be able to search ignoring final form charachters
Last modified: 2018-12-16 11:29:55 UTC
When searching, many times a user want to search for a string, ignoring final form/not final form letters. However, OO does not offer an easy way to do that, and always matches final form with final form and non-final form with non final form. I am attaching a simple test document, containing tweo pares of words- where each word is contained in the other, but with a diffrent form. Note esp. the 2nd example, which has the same word (walked)- once in male and once in female. Do to this bug, the user can't do one search to find both.
