Description dbiberdorf 2003-12-16 03:04:26 UTC
Under normal circumstances, if I type something like (excluding the outer quotes)
'problems--such as we have seen lately--in the design'
will have the two pair of -- characters turned into a single dash. This is good.
But if I type something like 'problems--such as the "defects"--in the design'
the second pair of -- characters (following the " character) is not autocorrected.
If I remove the " character, and type a space after 'in', it will autoformat,
so it appears to be the " causing the problem.
