Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 23581
Form toolbar Arrange object button name inconsistent
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:45:41 UTC
Hi, I noticed the Arrange object button on the toolbar seems to be inconsistently named. The name of the button on the toolbar to align objects is called Arrange Objects. Everywhere else such as the context sensitive menu and the main toolbar Format menu item, it is Alignment. Arrange usually refers to the Z-order of the objects. Alignment usually refers to the Vertical or Horizontal placement of objects. Thanks Kelvin
Hi, This is something for you. Bye Marc
accepted.
resending to my correct account "liz". "em" is NOT TO BE USED! It does not show up in my iBIS view. My OO.o acct has always been "liz" because "em" was previously taken by a Danish fellow whose name will always be found under "em"
This is a terminology inconsistency that will be addressed along with the others in the menus and toolbars.
change subcomponent to 'none'
according to http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=releases&msgNo=7690 this issue will be set to OOoLater
This appears to be fixed in the centralizing of tool tips and menu item strings. I cannot find the "Arrange Objects" in the string database.
Fixed in SO8/OOo2.0 closing
