Description naich 2003-12-14 17:06:10 UTC
I went to Autocorrect/Autoformat from the Tools menu. After clicking through
the tabs, I went back to "Replace", highlighted the first row - "(c)" to
copyright symbol and hit "Delete". When it still kept replacing it in the
document, I went back to the "Replace" tab to find that there were no
replacements listed at all. Quitting and restarting does not fix it. I still
have a blank list, but the program continues to replace words as normal.
Comment 1 naich 2003-12-14 17:17:11 UTC
In the directory ~/.openoffice/user/autocorr a new file (acor2057.dat) is
created when the "(c)" is deleted. Presumably this file is supposed to be
similar to "acor1033.dat", a compressed set of XML files, but it seems to be
corrupted as ARK cannot find any files in it. Deleting it and restarting OO
brings back the original replacement list without the changes.

reassigend to tl

can you please take a look on this issue
i can confirm this behaviour and that this workarround does work, in my case the
new created .dat had the name acor1033.dat, after deleting this the original
autocorrect list will be used.

us told me that you might be the one respnsible, if not please reassign this
issue back to me
