Description kurti 2003-12-10 13:38:34 UTC
I have MySQL 3.23.44-Max and MySQL Connector/J 3.0.8 JDBC driver.

I can connect to the database and see all records, but I cannot edit or add new
records (the '*' is disabled).

We tried the same about a year ago with the same effects. We tried the ODBC
driver which allowed us to add records to the database.

MySQL access works fine with 'mysql' command line tool and all our Java
applications using the same credentials.

Sorry, my fault. The table lacks a primary key.

Thanks for pointing me to the docs.
