1.Create a new OpenOffice presentation
2.Go to Insert menu
3.Choose Object
4.Select Sound  → “Insert sound†file dialog box appears
5.Select a text file
6.Click “Insertâ€
7.Exit the file dialog box
8.Minimize the document screen so that you can see the Desktop.
9.Restore the document window
Observe: the program does not retain the icon image when the screen is 
refreshed. Instead, it displays inside the icon area whatever was there before.
Expect: the icon image in its place

Sorry, i misunderstood waht was meant by "icon". Apparently the plugin
replacement view is meant (the "puzzle piece").

mav: cd hinted the plugin view in so3 was your code now ?
