Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 23212
Diagram in copied sheet still refers to source sheet.
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:12:27 UTC
When a sheet_A with diagram is copied, an enclosed diagram still refers to the data in sheet_A, i.e. when changing data in the new sheet_B, the diagram in sheet_B does not show any reaction. If that is not considered a "bug" (which I feel it is), we should at least give the _option_ to have all references transferred (=renamed) to the copied sheet. (or better: make that the default behaviour !)
Hi Bettina, 1 4 u. Frank
Summary: Diagram in copied sheet still refers to source sheet.
possibly the issue 14569 could be resolved at the same go: the problem of untransferred sheet-references when using named ranges looks similar to me.
Now http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=23212 is fixed somehow for target milestone 2.00, but as I learned unrelated to this one. But I feel this problem needs at least as much attention: could anybody put the milestone also to 2.00 ? Thanks Gisbert
sorry, I was talking about 14569 of cours Gisbert
I wonder if this issue could get resolved more easily now inside the new spreadsheet component?
A workaround to this problem, copy the worksheet to a new document and then, copy the sheet again from the new document to the original worksheet But does anyone working on solving this issue? Thanks.
This is the same as issue 29848, which is implemented in CWS "chart43" for 3.3. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 29848 ***
