After applying a 3D Effect to an object that supports three dimensional 
properties, a minor repaint error occurs as follows: the portion of the screen 
exactly "behind" where the 3D Effects dialog existed prior to closing is 
completely black. This goes away with a typical window/screen refresh (window 
movement, resize, etc).

I encountered this error on the following machine:
    Processor: AMD Athlon XP 1700+ 1.47 GHz
System Memory: 512 MB SDRAM 
Graphics Card: PCI S3 Graphics ProSavageDDR
      Monitor: KDS Visula Sensations VS-190is/VS-190p

Please turn off Open GL usage under
Tools/options/openoffice.org/View/3d View/Use OpenGL. This should
help. A lot of graphic card drivers are badly programed. Thanks for
your help.
