Description kuropka 2003-12-03 09:49:46 UTC
After selecting some objects I invoke the PDF-Export. After selecting the "only
selected" option the PDF-Document contains only the selected objects (that's
fine), but the papersize of the PDF-Document is not reduced to the object
boundaries.

This makes the PDF-Export useless for the use with pdflatex, for example.

Reproducible.

This is related to feature request #25341. I made it a feature request, since I
figured that one could consider it useful to PDF-export only the selected
items, but keep the paper size. So an additional option, like 'Resize page
format to selection' or s.th., would be good IMHO.

Regards, Nick.

BTW, it's still there in OOo 2.0Beta.

For the latex users: There is a tool called pdfcrop, which does the job:
http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/support/pdfcrop/

Anyway, this bug is still present in 2.2.0. I am not shure which version it was,
but it used to work in one (around 1.9-2.0).
