Description oharboe 2003-12-02 07:39:21 UTC
Whenever I launch my spreadsheet, the window is is split.

I can turn off "split", modify + save, but when I restart OO, the window is
split again.

Hi,

this is not a valid bugreport but an support request.

Such questions are answered on the mailing lists, especially users@...

It seems that you have defined a custom default template. Go to File
Template and have a look at the Organize section. Also use the Help
system for default templates please.

Cannot reproduce. What I did is load the attached file, Window->Split to remove
the split, SaveAs->New name (save as as Excel file). When I close and reload the
new file, the split is gone. Did you do anything else?
Comment 6 oharboe 2003-12-08 09:12:58 UTC
Ah.

You must save the spreadsheet in M$ format.

Yes, I _did_ save the file in Excel format, and it worked. Or do you mean
anything else?

That was it. Save in Excel format and split is sticky, save in open office and
it goes away when the spreadsheet is loaded the next time.

I checked the version and this is with OpenOffice 1.1.0 under Linux
