Description dklarson 2003-11-29 18:26:25 UTC
On Wednesday (11/26) I downloaded the Win2K version of OpenOffice from your
site. I tried to uzip the file with WinZip 8.0 and WiZ502(?). In both
instances, there were two (2) files that could not be decompressed. They were
f0_058 and Setup_Guide.pdf. The error was "invalid compressed data to
inflate". Thought that you might like to know that there may be a problem with
the download file. Needless to say, I could not install the product.

I am unsure what "RC" version is on your site.

I hope that this is the right place for this message.

Thanks

Please give us the url of the server you have downloaded from. Have you checksummed the
downloaded file? Please try to download from a different server.

I believe the download site was Indiana U. (ftp.ussg.iu.edu). We
have not downloaded from a different server as yet due to the fact
that the only internet service available in this area is dialup and
that would take too long.

utomo > dk larson:
I suggest you can try to get OOo 1.1 in CD. look at the website, you will find
information there.

or wait littlebit until OOo 1.1.1 is ready and buy the CD. it maybe cheaper.
