Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 22957
Printing collated handouts results in one collated copy and one full slide copy
Last modified: 2003-12-05 12:26:38 UTC
I have to print multiple copies of my lecture handouts to my students. I'm a recent convert to OOo, but have used PowerPoint for years. I want to print at least 10 collated copies. The first copy prints, then I get a full slide copy, then the second collated copy, then another full-slide copy, et cetera. Thus, a full-slide copy is printed every time I print a collated copy. To print, I first choose print and enter the print dialogue box; then I choose options and have only the handouts checked (the quality and page options are kept at their default values). If I just print one copy, only the handout prints (i.e. its normal). It just seems like the collate option gets a bit crazy, unless I'm doing something wrong. Yowza I am wasting a lot of ink here. I am currently running Fedora Core 1 on a P4 machine. My printer is an HP LaserJet 4100, networked via a ethernet card. Again, muchas gracias for your help. Mark
