Hi,

Although you can adjust the line-spacing for 'hatching' fills, the line-width
appears fixed at 1-pixel (or whatever the smallest line-wdith unit is). Thus,
even when hatched fills look good on screen, when they are printed on a
high-resolution printer, the lines are *way* too thin (sometimes barely visible,
depending on the printer). Currently, hatchings look better on low resolution
output devices! Not good WYSIWYG performance at all.

One solution would be to be able to specify the line-width in the same way that
the line-spacing is set in the 'hatch' dialog. Even better would be to be able
to assign a line Style to the hatching-lines (to allow dotted/dashed hatching etc.).

Using OOo 2.2 on linux.

When exporting as EPS the lines look OK (on screen) but when I convert that
file to pdf (using epstopdf) the lines are really thin and very light.

When printed (budget laserprinter) the lines are barely visible on the paper

Normal lines have the same problem when width is set to minimum (default,
0.00cm), but when set on any other value (like 0.01cm) the problem disappears.

I feel like voting for setting the priority to P2 since I'm not aware of any
existing work arounds.

Additional, I had my PDF with the OO.o vector drawings printed on a
proffesional printer in a commercial printing shop. Unlike my own laser
printer, this gave me a good crisp hatching as you would expect.

My guess is that not all printers handle the width of 0.00cm the same and
should be set to an actual existing minimum.

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".
