How to reproduce?
·	Open the Openoffice presentation part. 
·	If a wizard prompts up for creating slide in the presentation then 
click on create button and then select any of the slide formats and click on OK 
button 
 else  
·	if the presentation opens without the wizard then
     Click on the Insert option in the main menu bar at the top of the 
presentation and now click on Slide option in the pull down menu and select a  
slide format with clipart and text  and now click on OK.
·	Select the clip art  box of the slide.
·	Put a picture in the scanner.
·	Click “insert” from the main menu bar and choose “SCAN” and 
click “Request”.
·	“HP precision Scan LTX” window appears and along with “ warming up the 
lamp…” message.
·	Wait for approximately 15 seconds.
·	The picture will appear in the “HP precision Scan LTX” window.
·	Click on the picture to select.
·	Keeping other values as default click on the “send the scan now” button 
of the scanner window.
·	“Scanning” message will pop up.
·	As soon as the message box disappears, the picture will appear in the 
slide  clip art box.
·	After around 10 seconds  “Soffice.exe Application error” message box 
appears with  the message “ the instruction at “…….(memory addr)” referenced 
memory at  “ …….(memory addr)”. The memory could not be read”.
·	Clicking of OK button of the error message box close the application.


Note: Scanner used HP , Model No: Scan Jet 4300C
