Description Unknown 2003-11-24 14:07:31 UTC
When OpenOffice is minimally installed (Presentation is the only component or
feature installed) it still allows the user to attempt to insert a spreadsheet
using the slide layout feature. This causes a unrecoverable error for
OpenOffice. The option to insert a spreadsheet using the menus has been
inactivated.

Procedure to Reproduce:
Ensure OpenOffice is installed with only the Presentation component selected
Insert a new slide into the presentation using the Title, spreadsheet layout
Double click the spreadsheet icon to insert a spreadsheet.

Comment 6 clippka 2004-03-01 16:51:53 UTC
I fixed the problem, now an "insert ole object..." dialog pops up if someone
clicks on an uninstalled ole2 object placeholder.
I also removed all slide layout features that would use applications that are
not installed. So to reproduce this behaviour please use the attached bugdoc
