Description pgs 2003-11-17 03:25:50 UTC
I have a presentation template that has a bar (a blue strip, made of drawing
objects) at the top and the bottom of each slide. When editing presentations
made with the template, when I scroll the Impress window up and down so that the
bar is outside of the scroll region, then when I scroll back, parts of the bar
are not redisplayed.

Similarly, when I pop up a window over the OOffice window, and then switch the
focus back to the OOffice window, the background graphics are not redisplayed.

This behavior occurs under Windows 2000 and under Linux (RH 9.0).

I would be happy to send the template to anyone working on this. All you need
to do to reproduce the problem is load the file and scroll up and down or put
another window on top and then remove it.

Sorry, I cannot reproduce this, not on windows and not on linux. It
sounds a bit like a graphic card problem. Can you check if the problem
ocucrs on other machines, too? Thanks in advance.

Additional information received via mail:
Wow, that's really interesting. I had removed graphics identifying my
company from the file, then it worked for me too (I should have checked
before uploading the file, sorry!).

Could you give a try with the attached template file? Thanks very much.

Best,
Patrick

Thorsten, please have a look

Well, this definitely looks like a bug in our infamous master page
cache. This fella is, fortunately, superseded by a better solution in
current toplevel versions.

THB->WG: Fixed on latest OOo2.0 builds, please verify (m16 upwards).

I have a m23 here and the issue still occurs.
Comment 11 thb 2003-12-05 16:18:14 UTC
There's AFAIK no such thing as a src680_m23. I checked this on an src680_m16, and
there, it very much appears fixed.
