when I save a document WITH PAGE BORDERS in MS Word format (OOo format not
tested), close the file and then open the file again with OOo, page borders
disappear.

I would supply a file, but it is not possible - the only thing you'd see in it
is a page without borders.

This happens for me in ALL FILES...

confirmed with OOo1.1

reassigend to mru

problem as shown. please look for the maybe duplicate issue
set as new to raise attention.

Known Problem, will be fixed in OO 1.1.1. Also see issue 11929 for
further information.
