Description minderman 2003-11-03 10:39:12 UTC
Hello,
I Hope this is the right place to post this problem. In Mozilla I used to
'double-click' on an attached 'word' document. It allways worked in V1.0.3 but
since I installed V 1.1.0 this weekend it doesn't operate anymore.
Same problem when I try to open a 'MS-Word' document on a website, it gives the
same strange error:

"...<filename>... could not be opened, because an unknown error occurred. Sorry
about that. Try saving ...."

Do I degrade back to V 1.0.3 or will it be repaired soon !!

kind regards
Henk Minderman

Is that an Mozilla Issue?

Probably it is only a question of assigning the right mime-types in
your browsers preferences. Also the current Mozilla version is
something with 1.5. not 1.1.

I recommend either further research of your problem or a more specific
explanation, how it relates to OpenOfice.org?
As this is the OpenOffice.org issue tracker. Mozilla is a different
project (which can be found at www.mozilla.org).
