Description Unknown 2003-11-01 10:43:38 UTC
I'm very impressed by the scaling possibiblities of the page view (I'm using the
german version, so I don't know if the menu entries are correct). I encountered
reproduceable crash:
Being in Page view of a document, using the menu function "Ansicht - Maßstab"
(View - Zoom ?) and then clicking "Ganze Seite" (whole page) crashes the
program. The same function in the spreadsheet application works perfectly. Seems
somehow to be implemented differently.

I can confirm this and further anormalities with page preview on OOo
1.1.0(en) on Win98:

In Writer
> File > New
> File > Page Preview. Note that default setting seems to be 50%,
which shows entire page.
> View > Zoom > Entire Page
Page preview doesn´t change, but Zoomfaktor shows 0% (not a bug, but
needs to be changed to "Entire Page", otherwise misleading -> will
open a separate RFE)

Now, for reproducing the bug, do this:
> File > New
> File > Page Preview
> View > Zoom > 200%. Note that the page is enlarged as expected.
> View > Zoom > Entire Page.
Page doesn´t change. Zoomfaktor shows 0%.

This hasn´t chrashed OOo yet. But sometimes it does, probably with
larger docs. For this, ooebinger, please attach a file which shows
this crash problem.

Tested the behaviour again and found out, that its not a real crash
but the selection window doesn't disappear an if I try to change the
application by alt-tab under kde OOo seems to be dead. The file size
doesn't seem to be relevant. See the small attached file as an example.

HI->OD: For me it seems more a repaint problem.
