Description Unknown 2003-11-01 10:31:14 UTC
Saving a file the first time brings up the save as prompt and all works well.
Modifing the file and using File, Save or Ctrl-S results in an error message.
Unable to create backup. This option is not set to compulsory. Exiting the
application reveals the error "Error saving the document
file:///usr/OpenOffice.org1.1/usr/basic/script.xlc/: General Error General
input/output error. System is Red Hat 9.0 on a PC.

As OOo1.1Beta2 is such an verry old thing and I can not reproduce it
with OOo1.1 I suggest that you update you installation to the
currently available Version which is in fact OOo 1.1
