Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 21980
copy and paste an object sometimes moves it 0.01mm right or down
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:29:52 UTC
I'm working in openoffice writer with an ole-drawing object included. Sometimes (I can't say when, but I could provide a file where I have this problem), in about 60%, when I copy and paste an object to duplicate it, the new object is not exactly at the same position. it usually is 0.01mm right and down of the original object.
Created attachment 10857 [details] this is a test-file. i found this bug e.g. copying and pasting the 'z' in the cmos-inverter-image (new object 0.01mm shifted down)
Created attachment 10858 [details] sorry: the other file was the wrong version: here you can see a downshift of 0.01mm by copying and pasting the 'Z' in the cmos-inverter-image
How do you recover the Shift? Using the position and size dialog? Sorry, I cannot reproduce the problem here.
exactly. I didn't find a rule for the cases when it occurs up to now. Sometimes it is visible (with 200% zoom, probably because it is on the border between two pixels on the sceen).
Reproducible.
Reassigned to Christian.
will have a look at it
