Description pschulze 2003-10-31 19:22:06 UTC
It's not possible to delete records in a dbase database although its allowed in
the rights of the form properties. It's also not possible to delete the records
in the listmode (F4) but the accessrights are okay (rwx). But I can add new
records and edit records.
At this time I can only delete records if I open the database as a spreadsheet
but this can't be the solution.

Hi pschulze,

Please check the following:

- go to TOOLS/DATASOURCE
- select your dbase datasource
- select the dbase tab page
- if you have activate the 'display inactive record' checkbox you
can't delete records.
If you uncheck this checkbox, you should be able to delete records.

I set the issue to "resolved worksforme" please feel free to reopen
this issue if you are not happy with this solution.

Bye Marc
