Description dubiel 2003-10-28 10:35:26 UTC
I attach spreadsheet and its export to pdf. See how many unnecessary empty
pages it has exported. I think it's a bug.

Hi,

this is not a bug.

There is a print ranges defined covering about 23 pages. Most of these
pages are empty. So no bug from Calc.

But when I go to Format->PrintRanges i see that Remove is disabled,
and when I choose Edit I don't see any ranges that are defined.
Comment 6 frank 2003-10-29 08:30:43 UTC
Hi,

select Page Break Preview from the View Menu.

As you can see, the print range is set for 23 pages. It's an automatic
print range (dark blue lines to show you, light blue is a manual
break) defined through the hard formatting of the cell with align
Horizontally centered in all cells within this range.

Automatic pagebreaks can only removed by setting a new manual one.
Just drag the lines to cover just the wanted area or better use soft
formattings with the stylist.

I would suggest to add feature for removing hard formatting of cells
or text in Writer and also to be able to higlight cells that contain
hard formatting.
Comment 9 frank 2003-10-29 10:36:03 UTC
Hi,

such a feature is implemented. Just select the cells you want to
remove hard formattings from and select default from the context menu.

Implementing a sign for hardformatted cells is not really usefull
because this will lead to an information overflow blcoking normal
workflow.

Also if you want an enhancement or feature completly different from
the Issue you have submitted, do not alter the summary but open a new
Issue.
