Description norbert2 2003-10-25 12:46:22 UTC
If I start inserting text into an (empty) cell, the cursor is aligned right. If
I then remove the text and insert a number the cursor stays aligned left. But If
I enter a number at beginning, the cursor is aligned right.
This problem also exists vice versa.

Hi,

this is not a bug.

If you type text into a cell and afterwards delete this text, the cell
is temporarily set to text format. If you type a number, the cell
doesn't know if you really type anumber or a text. So the decission is
made after pressing the enter key.
