Description jkonecn 2003-10-21 15:17:20 UTC
If I run the presentation autopilot I can set the "duration of page" and
"duration of pause" if I select a presentation type of "automatic". If I choose
"default" I cannot, which is ok. However if I wish to change the type to
automatic and specify the "duration of pause" there appears to be no way to do
this short of starting over.

Reassigned to Christian.

After creating the presentation there are several ways to set the
Slide transition automatic and/or to set the pause.

to set the slide transition:
- choose a slide where you want to change the transition and click on
'Slide Show/Slide Transition'. You can change the transition effect
and the transition 'Manuel', 'Semiautomatic' or 'Automatic'

- change into the 'Slide View' select the slides where you want to
change the transition (CTRL a for all). You can change the Transition
effect and the transition (with the timing) in the objectbar.

- change into the 'Slide View' and click on the 'Rehares timing'
button. You assign the transition automatic and the corresponding time
with a click on the button. You don't change the transition when you
click into the slide.

To set the presentation type to automatic and set the pause time click
on 'Slide Show/Slide Show Settings'. Select the type Automatic and set
the time for the pause Slide.

I was totally screwed up. Thank you for pointing me in the right
direction. Sorry for wasting your time. Part of my confusion was
export to swf which doesn't appear to allow automatic transition.
That's a different issue though. Thanks again.
