Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 21328
Flatten excel file
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:15:02 UTC
If I make an offer for my customer I do some calculations. For example I take price and add 20% to it. Then I send this document to my customer, but I don't want him to know I have increased price for him by 20%. So I copy all cells, open new spreadsheet and choose PasteSpecial. Then take "Strings", "numbers", "DAte and time", "Formats". Now I have only final prices, and my customer can't read formulas. I would like you to add option that makes this work by one command -- for example Edit->Flatten, which will remove all computation from cells and leave formats, and contents intact. It would be nice to have File->Send->Document_as_XLS_attatchment where I would choose "Flatten". Now I wouldn't have to do so much everyday work....

Hello dubiel, you can do that by exporting the offer as PDF file.
