Description Unknown 2003-10-08 20:18:22 UTC
The Writer and HTML modules of OOO allow the user to inspect and change the path
of a linked graphic by means of a properties dialogue box (see attached
screenshots). Draw and Calc and Impress have no such dialogue box and no way
(that I know of) to inspect or change the path of a linked graphic.

If dialogue boxes similar to that in Writer/HTML were available in all modules,
it would solve this problem, and bring more consistency to the suite.

Hi Tony,

Links in Calc are handled via Edit - Links.

This is because Calc needs a special facility for linking to Sheets,
Files, Graphics and so on.

Nevertheless, I change the Issue type to Enhancement and send it to
the feature group.

Frank

HI Tony, the dialog you search is existing in all applications. If a
graphic is inserted linked, you can open the dialog Links... (via Edit
menu). Within tis dialog you can update, modify and break links, not
only modify it, as in the Graphics dialog.
