Product Requirement
Default action automatically saves a backup copy of the file based on number of
changes or time elapsed and automatically recovers the users work environment
when the apllication has been terminated anomaly.

Customer Need/Problem
Automatically saving a copy as the default will lessen the likelihood that a
crash will cause a user to lose a substantial amount of work if emergency would
not be able to save modified document.

Product Concept
Introduce new ?AutoRecovery? function with the possibility to configure the
saving time frame. ?AutoRecovery? recovers all SO applications (including all
documents, cursor and window positions) exactly to the previously saved state.
The user will get the same work environment he had before the application has
terminated. User will be informed using dialogs.

Functional Specification
- Restoring documents will happen regardless if documents were modified when SO
has been crashed. - Restore current application setting (default saving dialog,
Picklist) - Default of option is on, default time period is 10 minutes
(0=emergency saving only), saving the data will hapen in background. -
Furthermore SO tries to make an emergency save of all modified documents in the
moment when SO crashes. - These emergency saved documents will be restored in
favor when SO recovers, if they are not present (hanging app/system, power
blackout or defect emergency file, the previously recovered docs will be used
instead - Latest AutoRecovery doc will be kept until the moment of successfully
restoring the emergency saved documents - Saving a document always updates
(withdraws) the emergency saved information for this doc. - Recovery information
will be used on startup if the application has been abnormaly terminated before
(hanging app, protection fault or blackout) - Think about integration of
document repair function and error report wizard of CJ.
