Description Unknown 2003-10-06 22:46:52 UTC
When exporting a presentation as Flash, transition settings are ignored -
transitions are all manual, and there are no effects.

Please Attach the documents which make this problem, so we can test
it/faster to confirm.
(Without the documents, we cannot confirm the problem easily/need more
time)
Don't forget to cut other part of the documents, so the file size is
small, but we still able to see the problem.

Comment 7 Unknown 2003-10-07 18:30:54 UTC
I attach a test OOo Impress file, and the resulting Flash export file.
Each slide in the Impress file has a different transition effect with
an automatic transition at 1 second, but the Flash file has no effects
or automatic transition.

Slide transisiton was not a planned feature for OOo 1.0. The comunity
is working on it currently but it is not sure if its integrated. So
changing target.

Good Question.
Comment 16 ooo 2009-04-21 20:10:26 UTC
important comments taken over from issue
http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=24661:

<snip>
I created a presentation that used automatic slide transition(after so many
seconds the next slide displays on its own). Upon exporting it to a swf file
you had to click on the screen for the next slide to appear.

Not just slide transitions dont work - all animations are affected,
and all objects with "appear"-animations are visible from the start.
</snip>

It may be hard to work on this because of political issues: it's hard to develop
for a platform the owner of which does not want OO.o to have such features.

Therefore, targeting GNASH ( http://gnashdev.org/ ) instead of Flash seems to be
a good idea: there are extensive debugging facilities, and the result is Flash
compliant.
