Description drc 2003-10-02 20:45:20 UTC
This is a two page document intended to be backed up and folded to make a four
page A5 leaflet. The four A5 pages are frames in the two document pages. The
first document page has the front cover (on the right) and the final text frame
as the back cover. The second page has the first two text frames as they will
appear when the leaflet is opened.

Open the file test2003

Change anchor of the two images on the right hand frame of page 2 to 'page'.

Link the left hand frame on this page to the right hand frame.

(Text spills over this second frame and onto the third frame on page 1)

Change the images back to anchor to the frame - wrap becomes effective.

The document is now in the required form. Save it as test2003a.

Close

Open test2003a. It all has to be done again :(

The attached file shows the same behaviour with RC5 on Mandrake 9.1
Linux.

could not reproduce this here, following your advices. the document
remains as it is after your formating advices

my steps:

first click on the top graphic of the right frame in the second page,
set anchor to page (the pic diaapears just its borders are visible)
repeat the step with the bottom graphic in the same frame (pic allway
visible).
selected the left frame by double clicking on its borders, seleceted
the Options tab.
selected Frame3 as Next link.
the text wrapes through the 3 linked frames. top grapfic of frame 3
appears under the text.
saved the document, reopend the document, still as formated.
is this the way you did this?

I confirm your procedure does not show the problem. My procedure is
different.

After the text has flowed, restore the 'anchor to frame' on the two
graphics. The text then wraps around the two images to produce the
required document.

If you do this last step before saving, you will save the required
document, but it then reloads without the text flow.

Following reporter's instructions -- upon reopening "test2003a.sxw" --
changes to document had not been saved.
