When I try to open some MS Word documents, when OO starts to import it there is
"Unrecoverable error... All modified files have been saved etc." message and
application disappears.

I use OO 638C on Mandrake 8.1 / KDE. The same error occures with StarOffice
6BETA. StarOffice 5.2 can open such document but quality is poor...

That´s right. It crashed in OO638. This problem will be fixed in 
OO641.

Works good in OO641.
