print preview of multi-sheet spreadsheet doc incorrect in that it does not preview the "current sheet", but some other sheet.
Created attachment 9856 [details] open, then print preview; note wrong sheet in preview...
Hi, this is neither a bugreport nor an enhancement request. You have defined two printranges and the print preview shows the first page of the range. So this Issue is invalid. Frank

"this is neither a bugreport nor an enhancement request. You have defined two printranges and the print preview shows the first page of the range. So this Issue is invalid." I disagree. A printrange (in the Excel model anyway) is a per sheet property, so the fact that a range is defined on one (or more) sheet should not affect other sheets in the same workbook. A print preview should display for the active sheet taking into account only printranges defined for that active sheet! Further note that if the two printranges in the example are deleted then all sheets preview...
Hi, a Print Preview should display the printout as it will be printed ! So if you define printranges, they have to be shown in the preview. It's just the way OOo works. Nevertheless, I re-assign it to the feature guys. Frank

Hello bxtcmfn, yes, this feature can be optimized and that will happen. Please refer to the following link http://specs.openoffice.org/calc/compatibility/printsheet.sxw which contains the solution for OO.o 2.0. This issue will be closed as duplicate to issue 4063, which has been fixed and is containing the link to the specification. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 4063 ***
