Table cannot be bigger than one page. When it is, oo doesn't split it into 2
pages, which looks horrible. Sometimes it even double some rows.
Want to see it? Just create table with one row and push [Enter] few times.

You're quite right.  That's targeted for fixing in OpenOffice 2.0.

this has been marked as duplicate, so there's no need to upload a
sample document to this issue. All comments should be committed to the
original issue, in this case issue 2109
closing duplicate.

And BTW, a table cn be bigger that one page and splits across several
pages, only a single cell cannot be bigger as you noticed...
