How about including some way to edit PDF properties before
save it? Properties like copy protection or edit authoring data
are very desireable. By the way, the ability to use the document
index as an PDF index (that one that appears on navigation pane)
is also very important, and should even be a default option.

editing PDF properties won't be fixed according to
http://specs.openoffice.org/appwide/pdf_export/PDFExport.sxw
however retaining links (-> index) will be handled as part of i20327.
