Not implemented in 2.0.1.

Is this difficult to do? I do a lot of editing, and lack of this feature is
sorely missing!

It is very useful when we drag-n-srop a selection in the middle of existing
text, and find that we had forgotten to separate it from the surrounding text.
In such case, we can simply press Left/Right and press space.

But without this feature, we have to use mouse to place the cursor precisely in
the text.

the first macro checks if we have a selection, and in such case moves cursor to
the end of the selection, or else moves it one character to the right. it should
be assigned to the button "right".
the other macro does the same thing but in the opposite direction, and should be
assigned to the button "left"

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".
