Description drc 2003-09-23 21:36:50 UTC
Apologies - I don't have the example file. I will try to get a copy.

I was shown an OO rendering of a teacher's own Excel spreadsheet annotated
with 'cloud' style call-outs. I think the rendered call outs all 'pointed'
bottom left; they should have gone in various directions. Attempts to edit the
call out pointers resulted in flipped text as the pointer was moved.

The author/demonstrator was justifying his impatience with OO and his request
to purchase rather a lot of MS Office licences, so a work-around or fixing the
problem were not on his agenda....

It may relate in part to issue 10049.

I will have a look at this.
Comment 3 john.marmion 2003-09-24 13:43:49 UTC
as reported by the submitter, the cloud call-outs all point in one
direction only.
