shadow and filled box doesn't work

when you're drawing a box filled or add a shadow on a box you can't see the correct result but it's done correctly when you pass in slide show. This problem wasn't there in rc3 and appeard in rc4.
Do you mean drawing a box does not show the desired result? Is it a rectangle or a textbox? Please post a step by step description to reproduce your issue, thanks.
I create a new presentation, I use the icon to draw a rectangle filled (the same probleme appeard with square too with or without rounded too) the rectangle that I obtain is blank and not filled even if you try to add this by hand with the right clic and area option. But if you try to visualize the result with the slide show you can see the rectangle with the correct color fill. The same phenomen appeard when you add a shadow you can see the shadow but not the filled between the rectangle and the shadow rectangle but like again in slide show mode it's ok (like when you export in pdf).
Please check if you have changed your display quality (view/display quality...). The described behaviour fits to black and white or high contrast quality. Thanks in advance.
no I didn't change the view quality and it's on color mode and the same thing appeard with all other mode (no fill)
I find where is the problem, the default value in tools/options/presentation/view is now at contour mode (I'm sure to haven't change this things especially that I delete each time my OpenOffice.org directory) so perhaps it's something to change. Thanks for your help it's a lot of better to work now :)
I have downloaded the RC4 installation file again, installed it and had a look at the default: everything is ok. Thanks for your help anyway, I set this to worksforme.
