Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 19907
Can not add new style
Last modified: 2003-11-04 11:16:58 UTC
There is no way to define a new style in the spreadsheet program. This is seriously limiting the use of the code.
This seems to be spreadsheet, not impress. Changed component from impress to spreadsheet.
Hi, if you think about page or cell styles, just use the Stylist (F11), otherwise be more precise. Frank
The original description was wrong. It should have said "impress" in place of "spreadsheet". There is no way to define your own style in impress.
Ok, I changed it back. But your problem isn't clear at all. Please be more precise, A step by step description about what you're doing would help a lot. Frank
Stylist-Stuff, reassigned to Christian.
Step by step instruction: 1. Open a presentation file in impress. 2. Open the Stylist (F11). 3. Select "Presentation Styles" from the Stylist toolbar. 4. Right click on anywhere in the Stylist. There is no "New..." option. There is no way of defining your own styles. Alternate steps: 1. Open a presentation file in impress. 2. From the menu select Format->Styles->Catalog. 3. Make sure that the Presentation Styles is selected from the drop down. 4. The "New..." button is disabled. This is a serious limitation.
The styles in 'Presentation Styles' are only for Presentation Objects. This objects are special defined objects. Therefore you can't add or remove Presentation Styles. 'Normal' object are assigned to the 'Default'style in the 'Graphic Style' area. To create a new style you must change to the Graphic Styles. Here you can create a new Style with the 'New' entry in the Context menu of any style.
I change the resolution to 'invalid' because this is nit a bug.
I close the bug as invalid. Please reopen the bug if you can still reproduce it.
