Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 1978
Can't save Work95 document as Star Writer 6.0
Last modified: 2003-09-08 16:56:16 UTC
I have a document originally generated in "Word 95" format. I opened the file with swriter. The document looks pretty good. I then tried to save it using 'Save As' and chose Star Writer 6.0 format and got the following stack trace. I got a different, but just as fatal error when I tried to print it. Let me know when/if you will download this file. It is eating up 25% of my disk quota! Program received signal SIGABRT, Aborted. Reassigned to Michael.
FYI, I downloded 638 this morning and tried again - now it works! I saved the document in Starwriter 6.0 format, modified it, and printed it, and saved it again. It seems to be working fine. I woould change it to 'fixed' but obiously, this had already been fixed before I reported it.
Set to fixed, because it works in the customer´s 638. In deed, there were different problems in earlier Versions of OpenOffice with Word import.
Closed.
