Description opoplawski 2003-09-18 22:29:45 UTC
The OpenOffice icons are installed in $HOME/.kde/share/applnk. Unfortunately,
redhat 8.0 (and later?) requires them to be in $HOME/.kde/share/applnk-redhat.

I've tried with RC5, no links in $HOME/.kde/share/applnk-redhat. Can
we have this in OOo 1.1.1?
Comment 2 nospam4obr 2003-09-22 11:34:38 UTC
Creating symlink(s) in applnk-redhat (probably in a setup BASIC
script) would solve this issue, but I don't see why our generic
installer should do so - RH must have had something in mind when
switching from applnk to applnk-redhat.

Maybe they want to force people to install their rpm release of OOo ?!

Can you try this with a Red Hat RPM greater than or equal to 1.1.0-3?

thanks,
Dan
