- self-definable categories

- tick field: no category & no numbering

- if user enters text as caption insert space after auto-number automatically

- position option is not bad but I haven't seen it enabled yet

one of the latest versions of OOo, as the problem(s) may have already been
addressed. Either use the recent stable version:

- category list box is editable:  check

- tick field for no category et c.:  nope

- auto-insert space:  check

- position:  nope

- use actual number in preview:  nope


conclusion:

40% implemented, not far to go anymore but issue still valid.
