Description urska 2003-09-18 15:24:46 UTC
Currently, default page format for OOo Writer documents is Letter, which is ok
for non-european users, but not for those in Europe, where we mostly use A4.

Would it be possible to make this default setting a part of locale settings?
This way English(USA) users would use Letter as default page format and
Slovenian users used A4, for instance?

Thanks.

As some of us do not use A4 and can not eve get our hands on A4!

I think it is better in the option, if we can choose many type of the
paper size as default paper, not only A4 or Letter, but also other
paper size. some people also need to make A3 as default, some is want
others

This is the same issue as issue 3729, only the person who filed the bug was
complaining that A4 was default?! (I wish!)
