Description Unknown 2003-09-18 08:50:35 UTC
I use swedish win98 and try to install the above swedish product (1.1 RC4 se).
Everything seems to work fine, but after a while an error occurs. The error is
that it can't register a dll file: FWK645MI.DLL. I have tried to register it
manually in windows, but it won't be registered. It looks like som supporting
file is missing.
When I try to start any part of OpenOffice after the installation, it crashes
and want to send an error report. The report complains about the fwk645mi.dll
file.

I don't have a swedish Win98 version so I have to try on a german OS.
Installation is running without any error message. Have you
checksummed the downloaded installation file? Is it to much effort for
you to try the installation with the english OOo version?

Hello,

Thank you for your extremely quick answer ! The checksum is OK. I
have tried the english version also.

Then I tried installing the swedish version on another computer
running Win98. It worked fine. Then I copied the dll files from the
new computer to the old one and did a 'repair' of the installation.
Now it works fine !!! I suppose some dll file must have been corrupt
in some way and that got fixed when I wrote them over. Now I can use
your good software.

Once again, thank you for your quick answer and very good support !

Best Regards
