Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 19701
calc incorrectly pastes table from writer
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:15:02 UTC
see attached testcase. select all table (ctr+a, ctrl+a, for example), copy it and paste in calc. for me something weird happens, it seems like all that gets pasted is 6th column, 7th column, something, 4th column, something (something - empty cells, not sure is 5th or 8th column :) ) that is, first 3 columns don't get pasted at all, other are pasted in some random order
Created attachment 9415 [details] testcase - table that is not copied correctly
Hi Niklas, on Windows the clipboard contains the whole values from the tabl, all options for pasting work except formatted text. Frank
To make it clearer : The clipboard contains in all available views the whole content of the table. If you paste this into the calc (using all possible formats) all formats paste the content of the whole table except the option for formatted text. This will cut off the right most part of the original content. Farnk
Due to time problems this is re-targeted to OOo2.0
I also cannot paste writer tables in this feature guide for 2.0 to Calc (with OOo 1.1.3 Japanese version on Gentoo Linux). http://www.openoffice.org/nonav/issues/showattachment.cgi/19939/OOo_featureguide-DC.sxw In this case, it seems that the column including a cell which has paragraph breaks cannot be pasted properly. Please have a look.
This is fixed with the patch from issue 41181, on CWS "dr34".
Back to QA for verification. re-open issue and reassign to fst@openoffice.org
