Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 1968
Page Fault when saving to disc
Last modified: 2003-09-08 16:55:29 UTC
SOFFICE caused invalid page fault in module TL638MI.DLL at 016f:1l82df27. I don't get this error in the Wordprocessor at all and it worked fine with previous releases. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling - still get same error. Regards, Danie van der Merwe
HOWTO reproduce?
No problem in OpenOffice QA known.
Still getting error: SOFFICE caused an invalid page fault in module TL638MI.DLL at 016f:1c82df27. I will try a new download (takes a few days thought at 56k). Regards, Danie van der Merwe
Hi Danie, how do you reproduce this crash? Does it crash every time when Calc is started? Does it crash with load/save of a specific file? Does it crash randomly? Regards, Peter
Problem was resolved by uninstalling old version and then using Regclean utility to clean the registry, and then reinstalling OpenOffice. It had a hang up with installing over the older version of OpenOffice but this could have been a machine specific problem. No more problems experienced and issue is closed.
